Painted Lark Gift Guide

I hope you’re not as behind as I am on the holiday shopping, but just in case here are some ideas!

If you have a painting/diy-ing/decor-loving Lark in your life, here are some things I’d love to find in my stocking or under the tree:

Green Loose Tea - Blooming Loose Leaf Tea 6 pcs. Premium Level

Okay, I have no idea what this tea tastes like, but I really want to watch it bloom and serve it to guests! Now I need some glasses… vintage etched glass punch cups? I see them all the time at thrift stores. Maybe just my tall IKEA tumblers, I don’t want to distract from the show! How can tea possibly look that beautiful?

Design Bloggers at Home by Ellie Tennant

I haven’t actually seen the inside of this book, but it’s just irresistible!

Silverware with Bees on the handles

Full disclosure, our house is named La Ruche (beehive in french and it’s the name of a café were we had our first date) I’m a lover of all things Bees and Hives. But really, you can’t go wrong with this classic motif!

If you are the Lark and are looking for some more things to create as gifts, here are a couple of ideas for you:

Sugar Cubes in Cute Shapes - Hearts and flowers

So easy and so charming! Should turn out better than the year I made caramel cubes and then left then sitting on the mantel…. caramel soup, anyone?

Bowl of Pine Cone Firestarters

Did you see yesterday’s post? These take 10 minutes, you likely have everything on hand and they are such a charming gift! Click the picture to find out how to make your own.

DIY Cakestand

How about a DIY cake stand? Just find a base and tray you like and glue together with E-6000 glue. They’re always great for serving appetizers, pastries or anything!

Limoges Cakestand PL

This one is made with a Limoges plate I found at the thrift store. They’re very sturdy and great for freeing up space when you have a lot to get on the table.

Well, I better go get my holiday shopping and creating done!

Happy Holidays

~ Ali
